Hi all,

I want to build a collaboration site for my department. We have some guys
working on some prototypes, and each of these prototypes is owned by a lead
engineer. This person can pull in other colleagues with the same interests
across the company to work on it.

I hope to get the autocomplete capability, but i don't know how to hack it
so that it can query the ldap first, and put that back to the user database
for autocomplete to suggest the possibles names.

To take this one step further - if the lead engineer now wants to get
suggestions by typing emails... How may I include 2 fields (name or email
for autocomplete)?

I also want validation base on only emails, or names returned by ldap.

I found a tag list receipe online, which i think it is quite good to
display the selected suggestion.

Did you worked on something list this before? or you may know that there is
a widget, receipes, or slides that did something similar? I am not able to
visualize and put all the above bits, and pieces together. Hope you may
share some guidance.

many thanks.
