In other words, learn git and then you can effortlessly move between any
version you want. The time spent learning this is a huge payoff. mercurial
is
+1 for git but one doesn't need knowledge just to download versions.
github serves out 29 releases up until 2.0.2 (2 years ago) and google code
to 1.77.1 (whoa, 4 years ago)
Just tested it, takes for github

web2py.com/examples/static/version/web2py_src.zip
web2py.com/examples/static/version/web2py_win.zip
web2py.com/examples/static/version/web2py_osx.zip
for example:
web2py.com/examples/static/1.99.7/web2py_src.zip
We do not keep all of the old one. Only some. Try the one you need.
On Thursday,
ps: if you need the sourcecode, on
http://code.google.com/p/web2py/source/list there are from 1.77.1 onwards,
on https://github.com/web2py/web2py/ from 1.99.3
if you don't want to fiddle with mercurial or git (but you should :P)
ready-to-download source archives for 1.99.3 to 2.2.1 are here
