This a bug -- I just submitted a pull request to fix it: https://github.com/web2py/web2py/pull/1746. For now, you can make that same change in your own web2py.js. Note, this is only an issue if (a) you have a form with multiple submit buttons and (b) clicking one of the submit buttons returns a
