It's either in your environment (eg RF from fluorescent lights or
perhaps a wireless phone on the table) or in your audio circuitry.
Assuming you're using your MacBook's built-in video cam and mic, what
happens if you make a recording in a different room or building?

Very interesting demo. Lots to absorb. Unfortunately, I hear the audio
buzz, too, and agree that it's distracting.
I just realized why I did not hear it,
I was listening on one of those headsets that have a built-in inline audio
card, so it was performing a filter and it took that noise out. Playing
through my PC speakers and the noise is there
