Populate does not seem to work at all with validators. The code seems to be written to take account of field length and definition. However it looks at field.requires.options. Yet field.requires is a list of validators. I am guessing that validators have been around for a long time. In which case populate has not been working for a long time.
Am I really the only person who noticed this? Or am I mistaken?
