FYI

I have merged branches, pulled clones and updated the web2conf
repository with the application used for PyCon Argentina 2011.

web2conf is a minimalist conference management system, started for
PyCon 2009 registration and used in several events:

Change history:

 * ratings (activity reviews)
 * user voting (activity preferences)
 * confirmation (speakers and attendees)
 * schedule timetable (room, date/time)
 * speakers page (photo, bio, etc.)
 * pdf badges and certificates (attendance)
 * mailing (speakers and attendees) including talk info
 * related tweets section
 * management crud & menues
 * brief (talk stats by level, category, speakers country, etc.)
 * internationalization (english & spanish)
 * wiki/cms with flatpages_pluging
 * easier Registration (optionally no password required)
 * talk management improvements (author bio, embed video, etc.)
 * sponsorship (logos)
 * minor fixes (permissions, markmin, mmodel plugin, pdf, aux)

Download package:

http://code.google.com/p/web2conf/downloads/detail?name=web2py.app.web2conf20111013.w2p

You can see it working:

See also the http://code.google.com/p/conf2py/ project, a fork and
rewrite by Massimo DiPierro

BTW, counting bruno's conference system, IIRC there are at least 3
applications to run conferences using web2py ;-)
