I have been trying to finish a thorough episode on Deployment for the
WOWorx podcast but I can't seem to get deployment completed
successfully on Windows XP. I am trying to display all major methods
of deployment, OS X, Windows, and Linux. The Windows method I am
detailing is following an XP + Apache + JK + Tomcat setup which was
outlined here:
http://johnturner.com/howto/winxp-howto.html
I have gotten tomcat running successfully and everything else except
for launching the WO app. I have done a SSDD deployment of the Wo app
and copied the directory to the right location and it seems to pull
it up, but I get a " HTTP Status 503 - Servlet WOServletAdaptor is
currently unavailable" error. Does anybody know a clear way to deploy
to Windows. It seems I am very close. Although not working on it
everyday, I have attempted a few different things over the course of
a month to no avail.
Thanks,
