There are some serious issues with HUGE amounts of data being
retrieved and turned into objects. Some serious refactoring is
required.....
If that's an user centric app and you don't need the data, don't load
it as one big chunk. Load then data, when you need it. Look at pre-
fetching relationships.
The most important part:
Get SQL logging going and check where:
- SQL commands are slow that should be fast
- you retrieve large amounts of rows that aren't used / displayed
right away
Start from there before you do any refactoring. If you use
displayGroups and ProjectWonder, look into ERXBatchingDisplayGroup. If
you don't use Wonder, start using it.

Thanks. ERXBatchingDisplayGroup looks interesting. I will check it
out. We are using ProjectWonder but have only just converted the
project to start using it so still getting to grips with it.
