It was an obscure rule in the D2W.d2wmodel file.
It was a task = list and pageName = myCustomTemplate.
I just put a not like Excel in there and bam it works!!!

Yes.. exactly. That is my question.
On my other apps, Excel works like a charm.
This app is currently undergoing massive renovation. As such, I have cast
off frameworks and old libraries and have instead fully embraced Wonder.
I am currently working the reporting area and using a lot more ERD2W
I found:D2WEditBoolean which gives me what I want.
I'll keep plugging along.

ok it appears i am finally starting to grasp some of the ideas behind these
rules. but here I am stuck.
