Thanks for everyone's help... it was in fact that I was using WOLips 3.6 (with
Eclipse 3.7). Updating WOLips to 3.7 did the trick. I think the "stable" label
on 3.6 threw me off when I did the initial install.

What versions of Eclipse/WOLips?
There was a hang on save bug affecting the component editor in previous WOLips
versions that is resolved in 3.7.x

I assume you're using Eclipse 3.6, switching to 3.7 with the appropriate
version of WOLips is the way to fix the problem.

Which version of Eclipse and WOLips? Most of the crashes were fixed in WOLips
3.7, so if you are on 3.6 or earlier, try to move to Eclipse and WOLips 3.7.
