Hi,
So far no one seems interested in updating localized messages of the sites?
Please tell me if there are any issues to solve for updating the translation
of the sites. Any input would be appreciated.

Seeing 3.5.4 RC2 there was a shock.
3.5.5 and 3.6.0 should be worked on at this point and 3.5.5 has a freeze
next week.
