Hello Markus, Ubuntu 16.04 seems to have a libusb1 version which does not work with either WMR300 driver. I tried without success. Debian 9 and WMR300x is working fine. According to some users, Raspbian (based on Debian 9) and WMR300x works also fine. You can find more information in this thread
