Finally got FTP working nicely (gave up on Pi for now and running on Dell Optiplex 790) so now I am down to WeatherCloud, and then playing with skins to make it more personalized. Wonder if there is a way to add solar weather and Geomagnetic field data? -- You received this message because

It appears that sometimes I am getting no outdoor temperature data from my PWS, and it reports as NULL in the database. This is fine, it happens from time to time, I'm not too concerned about this. However, what I find happening is that when data is posted to weatherunderground, anytime that th

Hi, I suspect you will find this is an undocumented WU 'feature'; WU appears to not like missing fields in uploads. You can confirm this by setting debug=2 in weewx.conf and then restarting WeeWX. You will now be able to see in the log what data is being posted to WU. There is no simple config

This is a known problem with the WU. Issue #329 tracks a workaround in WeeWX. The workaround will appear in V3.8.1, due RSN. If you can't wait, there is a development version available here . -tk On Fri

Whoops, wrong key... As I was saying when in rapidfire mode WeeWX will cache loop data for a default 15 minute period. This may solve your missing outTemp issue. Rapidfire does have its issues though and it appears the caching still gives the occasional problem, so you might solve your temperat

Sorry, I should probably have supplied a little more detail: The WiFi Logger is a new third-party logger that fits Davis weather stations (Vue/VP2/Envoy consoles) exactly the same as the standard Davis logger, except that it communicates via WiFi (surprise, surprise!) rather than any cabled con

Has anyone here tried weewx with the new WiFiLogger? There's no obvious reason why it shouldn't work AFAICS using a data feed emulating the Davis IP logger, but it would be good to get confirmation from personal experience if anyone has actually tried it. -- You received this message because y
