Hello everybody,
I have the Belchertown skin up and running nicely and so I decided to
enable MQTT. I successfully installed mosquitto and endeavored to enable
MTTQ with Belchertown/weewx. However, Belchertown/weewx is not doing
realtime updates as it is supposed to and displays either "Conn

How do I make weewx use python3 instead of python2? I initially installed
weewx on Debian using the Debian package over a year ago and it was
originally setup to use python2. I recently upgraded to weewx 4.3.0 with
the Belchertown skin version 1.2 and so I want to also upgrade to python3.

not supported with python3. So, how do I get weewx/Belchertown's
mqtt extension to work with python3 or is that possible?
Thanks again in advance for everybody's advice.

Hi Vince,
Your advice worked! I already had the python3 version of paho-mqtt
installed and all that I had to do to get it to work was to reinstall the
mqtt extension with "sudo wee_extension --install weewx-mqtt.zip" and
everything was fixed. Previously, I didn't think that I needed to

You will get LOTS of these kinds of errors trying to run WeeWX
V3 under Python 3. Either upgrade WeeWX first, or use Python
2.7.

Hello all,
I have been successfully running my weather website powered by a Davis
Vantage Pro weather station with Weewx on Debian 10 Buster for the past two
years. My exact configuration is as follows:
- WeeWX version 4.5.1
- Belchertown skin version 1.2
- Real time updates via MQTT mosquitto
Hi Vince and Owen,
Thanks very much for your prompt replies. I found Vince's reply very
encouraging.
Has anybody else upgraded to Debian 11 and, if so, what was your experience
with WeeWX/Belchertown skin/MQTT?
Thanks

I am running WeeWx Version 3.9.2 and Belchertown skin version 1.0.1.
The temperature graph axis incorrectly displays "90" as "-0" as if the 9 is
replaced by a dash ("-"). Please refer to the attached screen shot which
shows this error.
How do I fix this?
Thanks!

Hi Pat,
I am running OpenSUSE Linux with KDE Plasma 5 desktop where the problem
exists with chrome, chromium and firefox. You are right in that the axis
labels work fine in Windows. Any idea what is wrong on desktop linux?
Thanks,

As an FYI, the temperatures on the y-axis on http://belchertownweather.com
also have "-0" instead of "90". So, this problem remains on the 1.2 beta.

OK, I have another system running Debian/Gnome and everything renders
correctly.
Also, I have a WIndows 10 instance that renders everything correctly as
well.
So, what is the problem with OpenSUSE? I've been using OpenSUSE since 2013
and I have not ever seen this before.
Any recommendations?
Also, I have the Konqueror browser running on my OpenSUSE instance and
everything is rendered correctly by Konqueror on OpenSUSE. Weird
