Quick fix for me was to change the URLs in restx.py to http instead of
https. That got it back updating.

This happened to me as well. Reinstalling the CA certs didn't help. I can
curl using -k (ignore cert) but weewx isn't playing nicely with the certs
as they are right now.

Okay, while it wasn't perfect, I was able to reclaim much of the missing
data from clearing the memory from what got sent to WU via rapidfire using
the wee_import utility. I gotta say I am super glad that exists. You guys
think of everything! Had to use the 4.0 beta version but it worked
Well, clearing the memory fixed it. Not sure what caused the corruption,
only the RPI lost power. First thing I tried last night was power cycling
the station and that didn't help. Thanks for the tip!

I've had power outages and stuff before and it's never been a big deal.
Weewx was working fine up until my kids shut off the power strip the
raspberry pi is plugged into. Upon discovering that a few hours later I
turned it on, it backfilled the past few hours of data, then just stopped
Even after that none of the backfilled data made it in. If they are no longer
accepting backfilled data then fixing wunderfixer might not be possible.

Yesterday when I was able to download the csv I saved a copy of it. I put
it up on a site hosted by me and changed the URL in wunderfixer to point
there instead. Now it parses it and starts the backfill. Still isn't
showing up on their side though. I'm going to run it about 10 times over
I haven't seen a 403 since you changed the user agent.

I was able to get it to work twice in my web browser, but as you said, it
is sporadic. I don't ever recall them using Akamai before so that may very
well be a contributing factor.
I wonder if we can find out the origin address and see what happens if we
can bypass Akamai...

Just tried posting a question to WU using their email form. Got this
error:
Validation failed: weather_underground is invalid.
Looks like they're a mess right now.

I'm getting 403. I entered an issue but upon looking further it appears to
me that wunderground has either broken that url or intentionally
deactivated it. Hoping it isn't dead forever.

I'm running weewx on a raspberry pi using the FineOffsetUSB driver.
I updated weewx from 3.6.2 to 3.7.1 on Apr 29 and I just noticed that ever
since, windGustDir has been null. Here's the lines from syslog showing the
version change:
Apr 29 14:35:43 weather weewx[766]: engine: Terminating
