Hello Markus, Ubuntu 16.04 seems to have a libusb1 version which does not work with either WMR300 driver. I tried without success. Debian 9 and WMR300x is working fine. According to some users, Raspbian (based on Debian 9) and WMR300x works also fine. You can find more information in this thread

Hello, On v3.7.1 connected to WMR300. When reading data from the station log (on start up), wind speed values are much closer to gust speed values that on normal operation. Could there be some kind of error reading/calculating wind speed on start up? Thank you.
