ok, I got this resolved for now. the "undefined" was caused by the fact
that the new type did not have a measurement unit defined. i modified
units.py to add the new database type and assign it to a "unit group". now
i don't see the "undefined".

a floating point value. the values are in the loop records and recorded in

it is true that using a high quality sd card will provide a lot more life,
but eventually it will fail. personally i got tired of having to replace
sd cards and reinstall. would you use an sd card for the main storage of
your pc? my experience is that an ssd provides faster access, more

running an RPI on an SSD is a bad idea as kk44 point out. run your RPI on
an SSD and life will be way better.

a simple google search shows that many people have decoded the 433MHZ
signal from this weather station. would be a simple matter to build a
received with some code to decode the signal. once you do that adding the
data to weewx is trivial.

i will point out that these kind of operations are way easier if you're
using mysql as opposed to sqlite. not too helpful at this point but you
may consider changing to mysql.
