That will be because the yearly plots are only updated once a day I believe
- and I think he monthly and weekly plots are updated only every 2 or 3
hours.
To force an update of all plots you need to delete the old .png files - and

well, a few cycles after updating pillow these were showing up only on the
yearly plots, but now I notice they're completely gone.
thanks to all!

Hi Gary,
I'm running python2-pillow 4.3.0-1 on an R-Pi, the OS is Arch Linux. I
guess I could upgrade the version and see if that changes anything.
Thanks for the feedback,
Ivo

Yes Keith, the funny thing was I had your name in the back of my mind but
somehow I missed the thread concerned, kept finding an earlier one where
you had flat line plots I think.

Gary,
That was a problem I had also. I was using Pillow 4.3.0 and updated to
5.0.0 and that fixed my problems.

Yes, that was it thanks.
Ξ. Are you running weeWX on a Mac, PC or RPi and are you using PIL or
Pillow and at what version? Might need to move to Pillow or upgrade to a
later Pillow version.

Hi,
I am certain I have recently seen a similar problem to yours but despite
having searched for a couple of hours I cannot find the emails/posts. It is
different to the usual 'funky symbols' issue in that the characters change
from report cycle to report cycle and appear in the plot date-time
So, half an hour later it looks like this
