Ok thanks Andrew. I did have a system lockup shortly before and had to restart
the pi and was unsure whether this was causing problems.
Normally I don’t look at the log as everything works ok.

Yes, that is not debug information - that is correct logging information of
actions undertaken by weewx.

Even with debug=0, weewx will still write things to the log. Perhaps that's
what you're seeing? Hard to say without seeing your log.
If you want to completely shut off the log, then there are several
strategies listed in the Wiki on how to do that. Or, you can just mount
/var/log on a ramdisk.

Just to add, if I set debug = 2 I get the extra output info.
But if I set debug = 0 I am still seeing debug info?
