The problem was resolved by using the internal Portaudio and Curl libraries. I
had to modify the build_make.sh trip for this:

On building I get this error:
No Rule to make target
"../libs/3rdParty/ffmpeg/libavcodec/libavcodec.a", needed by
"libs/owwebcam/libowwebcam.so". Stop
I have libavcodec.a in usr/lib,shouldn't that be used.

It seems that you're using commercial edition of QT which was compiled
with VS 2005
You should recompile your QT with VS.NET 2003
