Follow-up Comment #9, bug #25621 (project wesnoth): I can confirm that this is fixed. I have a Finnish keyboard that also uses Shift+. to enter a colon. Entering that as a hotkey was impossible before commit af1326d (same behavior as in the OP), but it can now be entered. However, I noticed that
