I did now tag 1.2, create the tarball andupload it to 
http://files.wesnoth.org . It will take me about 20 more mins to upload 
to sf.net, too. You can grab the tarball now from 
http://files.wesnoth.org and create the binaries. Thanks for your 
patience and sorry for the delay, we had some last minute image changes 
to be completed.
I hope that there are no problems left in that release and that we can 
enjoy Christmas now.
I want to announce this late evening in Europe, so maybe around 1:00am 
in Germany. It would be great to have the windows and the mac binary by 
that time if it is possible.
