Dear all, this is just to let you know that Science Cafe Uganda is slowly finding its way into the world.
Science cafe will represent Uganda among five countries selected to pilot cervical cancer and HPV vaccine awareness at grassroots communities to generate information for global advocacy strategy for vaccine development and promotion by WHO. Apparently Uganda has the highest incidence rate and mortality rate among the 17 countries of Eastern Africa. This disease is preventable but why is Uganda having this high incidence rate is the million dollar question Read the press release in advance to the world immunization week with information from the five selected countries and their projects from the Science cafe website. You can also now view the cafe photos from the various discussions being held on the website. Thanks Christine
