Dear Sam
The delay was not our end

The system instantly delivers all mail it receives automatically (unless it is
above 250KB in size)
If it is above 250 KB in size it immediately sends you a warning that your
email is being held up because it is above the size limit AND
I get a message saying there is a message above the size limit that requires
approval.
I usually check every morning and evening so even if I missed it on day 1 i
would have caught it the next day.
I then either allow or deny it and you instantly again get a message from the
system that your email was rejected or approved.

If the message reached the system and was small (below 250KB) which this one
was ... it would have been automatically sent out with no intervention from me.

As can be seen from this link in the archives
http://www.mail-archive.com/search?q=loss+of+my+Grand+Mother&l=westnilenet%40kym.net

The message was in fact delivered on 14th February and was responded to by many
people (including yourself, caleb, banduga and others)

I have no idea why Gilbert responded to it on the 25th of August
Maybe he was clearing old mail in his mailbox that he had not touched for a
while.

But the system worked as expected as per the above archive link

My deepest apologies and condolences for the stress and heartache caused by
this but it was not caused by a fault on our end.

Sincerely

Kiggs
