Dear friends,
The university issue is certainly very important. I suggest we get a list of 
all the people either are presently teaching (used to teach) in the different 
universities both within and outside the country. Am sure many in this forum 
know these persons from westnile who are professors/lecturers. This could be a 
very useful starting point because they would bring on board practical 
knowledge and important contacts. Those in other higher education circles would 
certainly be very important but a university is a university, its dynamics are 
a different ball game all together.  For example, a universities survival and 
sustainability is just not the tuition it charges but how it can attract 
funding say in areas of research and related aspects.

I am a part time lecturer in Makerere University Faculty of Economics and 
Management, Not a PhD holder yet but a number of westnile students have gone 
through my classes. If the members in this Foundation deem my modest experience 
necessary for this cause, I will gladly serve although not on full time basis.
