I noticed, the statistics I have mentioned here are based on this this
preliminary and incomplete information, which I have realize contradicts
with the total figure. sorry about that;

At 2:19a.m.,  the second preliminary results were announced from 1,005
polling stations. Mr  Yoweri Museveni is in the lead with a total of 226,872
votes which account for 72.83% and his closest challenger, Dr Kizza Besigye,
has 69,073 accounting for 22.17%.

Abed Bwanika has 1,582 votes accounting for 0 .51%, Beti Kamya with 1,455
for 0.47% and Bidandi Ssali with 1,146 accounting 0.37%.

Nobert Mao has 4,211 votes accounting for 1.35% while Olara Otunnu has
6,304   making 2.02%.  Independent candidate Samuel Lubega has 857 votes
which give him 0.28%.

In the second preliminary results announced and signed by Dr Badru Kiggundu,
the total valid votes are 311,500 while invalid votes are 12,143.  The total
numbers of votes cast are 323,642.  And another 745 votes have been reported
spoilt.

At 3a.m., the EC closed announcement of preliminary results until Saturday
7a.m.
