Suggestion to add an switch on timestamps
Dear Sir/Madam: WGET is popular FTP software for UNIX. But, after the files were downloaded for the first time, WGET always use the date and time, matching those on the remote server, for the downloaded files. If WGET is executed in temporary directory in which the files will be deleted according to the date of the files, the files, created seven days ago, will be deleted automatically once they are finish. I suggest that an option on timestamps can be added to WGET such that the users can use the current date and time for the newly downloaded files. Thank you for kind attention.
