Why not url_unescape for saved local files?

Hi. I have a question. Why does not wget do url_unescape for saved local files? Are there any reasons? I modified utils.c: make_directory() and http.c: gethttp(), and it looks it's working well. I will modify for ftp later. But, it might be not such a easy problem, so could you tell me if any? th
