Yes, wget is not a DOS command, but you can download the Windows version from

It seems that the spam are in fact viruses, most likely originating
from infected subscribers. A sunsite staff member told me they have
just updated the virus scanner, which should make the problem go away.
Yes, I'm getting spam originating from the list, too. Today I counted more

Is it my weird setup, or has spam reemerged on this list? If others
are seeing the spams that seem to originate from the list, I'll try to
contact the admins.
I, on the other hand, am actually not sure why you're not able to
have Wget find the marked up (not javascript) image.
Cause it worked for me.

OK, that does it. I usually don't complain much about spam and simply
deal with it. But blocking my dial-up with 20 spam-mails with >700k
attachments each only happens on this very list.

it, isn't it tim

I have put a filter before ezmlm (spamassassin). See me previous post
to you about that...

I don't know if ezmlm can be made not to strip the headers. Perhaps
one of the admins knows if that's possible?
It would be a lot easier to report this shit to SpamCop if the mailing
list software didn't strip the incoming headers.

Can whoever is in charge of this list please set it up so people have to join
the list to post to it. This spam is getting ridiculous and if we are going to
continue to receive all of these porn solicitations, etc., I am going to have to
unsubscribe.

The amount of spam I get daily since I joined this list has doubled, most of
it coming from the list itself.
Ezmlm doesn't set up messages in such a way that SpamCop can filter out the
real sender and deal with it.
I keep seeing the same spammers hitting the list multiple times.
