I don't know but if you want a powerful scripting language then you should
look at JRuby.
If however you are concerned about users, then you could do it entiry using
JavaScript. In fact that might open the door for a numer of widgets already
in the public domain, yui being one of them.

Hi Goeff,
I too would like to see your code.
Why don't you leave it on Sourceforge, together with shades?

I too bought a beta version of the book, hoping that I would be informed of
the final release but no such luck.
The e-book is still in beta version on their website.
I tried to download the code for the book but it's not there either.
Strange.

There is always this thing called expectations.
This is the first book written for those who want to get up to speed with
Wicket and I find it extremely to the point.
Funny, but I have dramatically oppossite comments after reading this book.
I like it very much and I find it extremely important to
Thanks Goeff,
By your own admission Shades owns it to Wicket so it would be nice if this
special relationship was maintained. I think it would be great if you put a
number of examples showing how to integrate Shades with Wicket and who knows
it might me just the beginning of something greater.

Hello Geoff,
I've checked out Shades form sourceforge.
Would it be possible to include a Wicket applications that takes advantage
of Shades.
For me the best way to learn/understand is to see an example in action.
I know you have posted something on this list before but somehow I can't
download it.
Thanks Geoff,
Will check it out soon.

It looks as if wicket-phonebook has been updated to run under wicket-2.0.
I've just svn'ed it and it does not compile under 1.2 It has other goodies
in the constructors.
How can I get hold of wicket-2.0 so that I can experiment with it, etc.

Hi,
Thanks Igor. Your suggestion fixed the problem.
I think that src/main/resources folder should be included to the buildpath
automatically.
I know what you are saying Igor. However, if someone downloads the released
packages such as for example the latest rc3 drop then you would expect that

Hello Jurgen,
I did not download any jars. I've downloaded the latest drop rc3 and

I thought that the drop is designed in such a way so that it's ready to go
in Eclipse without any further work, apart maybe from some dependencies.
I'm sure that a lot of people coming to wicke
