I was able to fix the NPE except on one example:
This is a problem. I'm not even sure "#" is supported. Does anybody
have an example of a Link which uses "#" to move to a position within
the markup? It can not be a PageParameter because they are appended
with "?".

Understood. But it seems to me that when a page DOES exist, that
shouldn't happen...

That looks to me like a bug. I assume you have several anchor tags in
your menu and all them are enclosed by a single ? As
can be nested, a simple workaround could be to disable
it for the failing link, because it is
not required anyway for the page internal link.

I just moved over from Tapestry. So, I understand the concept of how
Wicket works, but (1) I'm not yet familiar with the implementation
details, and (2) I'm not able to find detailed component documentation
anywhere...
My question is: how do I link to a target within a page, specifically
