Summary: Wikisource: Texts without title in original (is it possible to hide firstHeading) Product: MediaWiki Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: Normal Component: General/Unknown AssignedTo: wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org ReportedBy: smih...@gmail.com Hi! It's me, again. There are many untitled works. I understand you can not upload anything on Wikisource (or other mediawiki site). So I give such a pages descriptional titles (like "Work no. 1 by Author") or just copy first line of poem as a title. The problem is following. Generally it is not wanted for changing any bit of artist's (poet's/writer's) work (and adding kind-a-title is a BIG/MAJOR change), in some countries this is also forbidden, but in USA (where servers are) I believe it isn't. If i cant't upload texts without a title can I hide it, just like on Main page this is done (URL stay unchanged, but <h1 with id firstHeading> element is hidden)? I know there is javascript behind, but I relay don't want to add functions for many pages without title. Is there any extension that solves this problem is there other way to do this?
