Looked into this further today, and my current issue seems to be with the
constructor for the FCKeditorSkin class.
It's defined in FCKeditorSkin.body.php:

But, unfortunatly, it does not work, with Mediawiki 1.15.1 and PHP 5.3

I seem to have found a way of fixing the bug on my setup. It is probably not
the complete solution,
but it might help a better programmer find a better solution.
