The readme file included with the extension declares that:
"This extension is currently experimental and almost certainly won't work for
you (yet).
We anticipate having a working version in late October / early November 2010.
Contact Neil Kandalgaonkar <ne...@wikimedia.org> for more info."
While it is correct in saying that it's not working for me November 2010 has
been long gone. It also conflicts with the statement on
[[mw:Extension:UploadWizard]] saying that this is a stable extension that can
be used with a high traffic wikis.
