            Bug ID: 43928
Summary: 'Forward' column label is misleading - should reflect
                    database schema
           Product: MediaWiki extensions
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Unprioritized
         Component: Interwiki (extension)
          Assignee: soxre...@gmail.com
          Reporter: zhoris...@gmail.com
                CC: wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org
    Classification: Unclassified
   Mobile Platform: ---

In the Interwiki extension, there is a 'Forward' column that represents the
'iw_local' column in the interwiki table. This is confusing, since 'forward'
isn't really any more meaningful to the average wiki sysop than 'local' -
having two different terms for the same thing just means that much more we have
to learn to map to the actual function.

The legend can handle explaining regardless of the particular name used here,
but the discrepancy between database and front-end representation adds
unnecessary confusion especially if a sysop won't always have access to this
extension.
