Please note a workaround for disabling the access keys is available on English
Wikipedia, and possibly other wikis as a customized gadget setting.

I am a Safari user, and Safari has emacs command bindings in its windows, which

Mozilla fixed this long ago by moving to Alt-Shift-. Opera has always behaved
sanely by using Shift-Esc- or something. Now (surprise!) only IE seems to
still be causing problem
