I believe there is a more fundamental problem, that statements of this datatype are missing from WDQS results
These two queries using P3896: geoshape produce 0 results, but Q11299: Manhattan uses it:

I found that wikibase:box works ok if used with literal "Point(..)"^^geo:wktLiteral.
However wikibase:around didnt work with literals - it returns zero results.
So geospacial searching only works in very limited cases.

Well, ProofreadPage 'provides' a source (raw wikitext) editor for any title
in the namespace managed by ProofreadPage. So I can see why one person might
think it needs to be part of this proposal!
But if the user has chosen to use VE for ProofreadPage

@Blahma, the 'help' problem for new users is a real problem, but magic words,
special pages, etc doesnt feel like the right solution; or at least it solves
only a tiny part of the problem which is 'getting to the front page of the
relevant help pages

Ideally I can use different registered editors in different namespaces or
content models, in which case Special:MyEditor doesnt make sense.

I am quite concerned that core master and old compat/core bots will keep
rearranging any page that still has a Link X template.
It would be good if we could run a db check to find any more pages that match

I'd be happy either way; but would like to know promptly either way. If it
is correct for it to be exposed, then we can update our test method. We also
need to document how/when to use `application/vnd.php.serialized` with
`action=edit`. It isnt currently l

I see the current patch puts this new data structure into `meta=siteinfo`. I
am wondering why there, instead of `meta=wikibase`. Is `meta=wikibase` being

Pywikibot does use the data type, quite extensively. e.g.

They are mapped to classes, and mapped to value-types.

On cache invalidation, we can force a refresh of the `getPropertyType`
property-datatype mapping whenever a new datatype is encountered. What would
be nice is if Wikibase provided an API call to list all datatypes, so we can
detect when the list of datatypes changes

It looks like the api provides no information about how long the bot should
wait. is there some other way to determine how long to wait?

So, property claims can have references/sources.
That means that the only ItemPage-specific data is sitelinks. They dont
appears to be valid for properties. But perhaps we should check if the
Wikibase team intend to add sitelinks/badges to Properties?

My concern with starting this project in Wikimedia Gerrit is that it is going
to be shut down soon **and** not migrated. I want to keep all our code review
discussions. So if Phab cant be the code manager, maybe it is better for it to
stay on Github, or maybe use http

Wikis already define their sort order in a tool-agnostic manner. See

And pywikibot already handles most of these settings, but it needs an overhaul.
