`replaceSiteId` is called twice in the gadget, but I don't understand what
it's doing well enough to know why both are there and whether one can safe

This is because MediaWiki:Gadget-SiteIdToInterwiki.js is executed twice on a
page. So mediawikiwiki becomes mediawiki which becomes media.
