There are many good reasons not to trust http, but the recent
confirmation [1] that it was being actively exploited is a good one to
start with. I don't want to go too chicken little [2] since most of us
aren't going to be targeted, but I think we owe it to our users to
protect them whenever we can. Especially when the marginal work on our
end is trivial.
