[Wikimedia-l] can we enable blog comments please?

Regarding https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wikipedia_Signpost/2018-12-01/Opinion Why does the https://wikimediafoundation.org/ blog not allow comments? Is the software capable of allowing comments? If so, could someone please turn that on? Why are we not using a wiki for the main blog?
