Just reviewing this feedback there's a couple of specific points I want to
address.
- Copy violations for images. I am going to link to them in the
digital version and give an accreditation in the printed version.
- Links are included for the digital version. They will be added as
I've expressed my interest too off-list - this is really close to my house
so it'd be lovely to attend.

I've raised a question on Commons, about performers; ruiights in
reoding of church bells:

I'm no expert, but AIUI, the UK style of bell ringing is different

Not the same conference, alas. But I will invite the festival organiser
along to Wikimania. It will give him a sense of the kind of things that can
be arranged.
It's good to see so much interest in this. Once I have some more details
I'll invite the festival organiser in for a coffee and to meet
I'm clearly no expert on copyright but I wonder if the rights issue would
be the same as an orchestra. Would you need to get approval from each
musician in an orchestra to use a recording of their performance?

Yes - I'm not sure where Wikimania came in to the conversation! It's not

In some ways professionals are easier because they will have thought about
IP issues and have a contract which means you negotiate with their manager
rather than them individually. But on the downside they usually expect to

I know that some bell ringers do get appearance fees, I used to
Sounds sensible, but before we do that, let's make sure we're talking about
the same event...

Hi Stevie,
I'm already in discussion with somebody involved with the convention. We
haven't got anything firm yet (there was going to be more conversation at the
Coventry meetup on the 30th), so unless you've already made some headway,
perhaps we should merge the conversations?

Are there any plans for WMUK to offer or coordinate training for
(potential) users of the GLAM toolset?
