I am working on patching the IBM DB2 implementation in the trunk. It's not
functional as is, but I have a set of patches ready to go as soon as I
resolve a major bug.
Once it's in the trunk, I hope to backport the changes to the 1.16.x branch.

supported. There is a native driver that should be be used; we already have a
bug open requesting support for [1].
Additionally
IMHO WAMP server is a bad choice for the huge databases, because you
need to optimize the parameters of MySQL (the my.cnf file) for the
speed uploading of data.
