Hi all, We wanted to give a quick update on what happened during day 1 of the Wikimedia Technical Conference , in Atlanta, Georgia. *Tuesday

[Wikitech-l] Pre-MCR database fields are no longer being written on group 0 (and soon on the rest of the Wikimedia wikis too)

We've reached the point in deployment of the Multi-Content Revisions changes where we're turning off the writing of data to deprecated fields. In particular, rev_text_id and ar_text_id will be 0 in all revisions, and rev_content_model, rev_content_format, and corresponding fields in the archive tab
