How can I use the mediawiki api to parse summary of a wikipedia article or
multiple pages at once if possible.

I am trying to pull up a list of pageids from the snapshot, which belong to
a specific category. Basically I am trying to pull up pages which are on
book portal pages. I looked at the snapshot mysql db to see which tables i
can use. but the fields of tables category and category_links didnt mak
Is it possible to get a list of licenses for all the images on
wikipedia programmatically? Just the licenses, and a count of how many
images have which particular license.

I found one page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subroutine which has a
pageid 40988 in the 05-26 snapshot, but now has a pageid 32177451 in
the newer snapshot. Just wanted to know what are the circumstances
under which this happens. Is there a way in the api to know which
other pages might have had t
The boxes that are on a wikipedia-page on the top right hand corner
generally, as I have seen are created by using templates Infobox or
Navbox. Are there any other templates which can result in such a box?
