Hoe exactly is Majordomo implicated in this?  If delivery is slow, it is
the MTA's fault because Majordomo does not do delivery.  If messages are
being refused, it is the MTA's fault because Majordomo does not accept
messages.

Majordomo is a thin and simple layer and it relies on the MTA to do
essentially all of the work (which is a good idea in general, because MTAs
are supposed to be good at things like delivering mail).  If someone has
decided to run Sendmail and expects it to deliver quickly or stand up to
high load then you have the culprit.

Blame Majordomo for what's wrong with it, but don't blame it for things
that have nothing to do with it.
