That code doesn't with with my QuickCam 3000, which defaults to YUV420.
The attached patch adds YUV420 support back in to vidcat.c, and should
still work with RGB cams.

Looks like Webcamnow.com has a simple Win32 app now. They're setup
quite simply - They merely grab a pic, and ftp it to their servers.
After install, I assume I'm getting the same errors you were, as it
enumerates the webcam devices:
fixme:avicap:capGetDriverDescriptionA (0, 0x411f1050, 255,
\ = ~/Documents
c:\Program Files\ = ~/Windows Progs
d: = /mnt/cdrom
Then wiping your ~/.wine would preserve your files, and with those apps
that don't require registry settings would just work without a reinstall
(Pegasus Mail is a good example).

ancient distros then upgrading won't go away anytime soon.
I guess I was thinking more along the lines of a Wine reinstall to fix
'Windows' problems, not necessarily Wine upgrades.
Just something else to think about :)

to be a weblog in that sense
(monitoring bug status for a specific app), but maybe you could work
with Jeremy to enhance that ;)
Or maybe tie AppDB to bugzilla? Have a link to bugzilla for all bugs
for this application?
