I wanted to create a 16 bit self-extracting archive.
So I downloaded
ftp://ftp.pkware.com/pk263w16.exe
and followed the instructions in Help for creating a windows self-extractor.
Sadly, 'file' on the resulting .exe says it's just a zip

I also tried the DOS version, and that just hung (grumble).
pkzip 2.5 for dos works fine under dosbox

I am sick and tired of us wimping out and pointing people
to dosbox. Wine should be able to run DOS apps.
