Looks suspiciously like the 2.6.0-test8 kernel is to blame. To confirm
this, I rebooted
My kernel is the Debian sarge default kernel, 2.2.20. I get zero zombies.
Oops, should be Debian woody.
Also, does anyone else get orphaned zombie processes after
running
the regression tests? (which is moderately impressive: I thought
init
was supposed to clean these up)
The execution of the attached script in dlls/ shows the only dll test
which generates orphaned zombies is kernel.
