No 900MHz comes close.
Our 2.4GHz installs are $199 + special mounting, if needed. 0 month
ROI. In fact, I often make a profit on an install, something that was
very rare prior to the NS2 and NS2L.
But, I currently do 900MHz installs for $299 + special mounting, if
needed. RB411, XR9, 13DB
SNMP would work if you just wanted to collect information about the AP's
you are actually connected to. I don't think there is an OID for the
scan feature, but I could be wrong. Anyone know? That is why I thought
they might have some kind of tie in to the scan using the API.

If you have customers on a remote repeater site, and have agreed to
pay a percentage to the landowner as compensation, how do you prove
to them how many customers are on that system? Anyone have a short
non-disclosure paragraph they've added to a location
agreement? Would you share?
What do you guys use to log maintenance, upgrades, parts needs, etc. for
your towers? While wikis are so hot right now, I'm thinking there must
be a better way to keep track of things like battery maintenance
schedules, lightning fixes, etc. than a wiki or paper log book. Any
other ideas?
I was just thinking about this.
I am going to test these PHP scripts in the next week or two.

We've been using the Trango 900Mhz gear and are familiar with canopy and
it's abilities. How does a Mikrotik with something like a XR9 compare
in terms of penetration and throughput when paired with a Ubiquity CPE?

I'm actually about to test something similar in a few days. We have a 2.5
mile link to put in with half a mile of it through trees with .25 miles of
that running right over a creek. Doing it on the cheap, or trying to. Have
2 Mikrotik 411 boards on both sides running a transparent bridge using
Good luck and may the force be with you!
