Has anyone ever used the Til Tek dual pol 900 mhz sectors for
simultaneous broadcasting ie., 1 radio on H one radio on V pol?
Thanks

Be sure to space your channels FAR apart. Don't count on the cross-pol
isolation of the antenna to avoid self-interference.

Anybody know of any equipment for under 5K that can deliver 100Mbit
(ish) with Dual Polarity with Adaptive Modulation? (Anything that is not
Ubiquiti for now.)
Also anybody know when the Rocket M will be shipping?

Mikrotik with R52N cards and say a RB411AH
I see almost that much throughput with the regular rb411 boards but the cpu
i believe is the bottleneck but its close.

we had almost a 30 mile path using I believe SR5s and I think it was 10
mHz channels and I think we topped it at 15m but throttled it back to
cap @ 10m
Anyone know an easy way to figure out what a 532 with 2 PtP links on it
would be running at 80+%? No queues, no filters. Moving about 2Mbps
from the 2 backhauls down the wire.

Connection tracking? Do you have all of the extra packages you don't
use disabled? I've seen this once with web proxy enabled and someone
using it to send spam.

The Tiltek design allows each pol to have its own radio. BUTwith 900MHz
it is awefully hard to isolate between pols within an antenna. Actually its
not easy isolating pols from seperate antennas in close proximity. So how

Are you talking about a 233 mhz or 400 mhz 532?
Well the first step is how much traffic is teh RF sending? 2 mbps in an
Eth port, could be 15 mbps going out a RF port if lots of retransmissions
due to noise.
We typically saw 233Mhz 532 peak out at full CPU utulization at 18mbps or
so. If
I'm with Chuck, much better performance with the Trango vs. Mikrotik in
my experience.
Why horizontal pol? Vertical cuts through the foliage much bettter, at
least with the NorCal
foliage we have here.
